Philly Food, a division of Dial-a-Party Catering, is available to satisfy those of us from afar who simply must have a genuine Philly Cheesesteak. Read below for a review from a very satisfied customer who furnished us with the info on Philly Food!

I grew up with cheese steaks and hoagies; our family owned STACKY'S STEAKS AND HOAGIES in Chester, PA, for more than sixty years. Stacky's gave way to the wrecking ball last month for a new access road to I-95. Anyway, here's good news for those poor souls yearning for that epicurean delight we call a Philly Cheese Steak. Dial-A-Party Catering located in Media, PA, and approximately equidistant from Chester and Philadelphia, has a division they call Philly Food. Philly Food makes cheese steaks and hoagies the way they were intended to be made using fresh Amoroso's rolls and all the best meats, cheese and produce. They wrap the sandwiches in film to keep air out, refrigerate them for a few hours, pack them in insulated containers with ice packs and ship them the same day via FedEx next day air. The lucky recipient just has to heat the steak sandwich in their oven. Hot or sweet peppers and catsup are packed on the side so you can add these condiments to suit your taste. I have sent these gift packs to friends in Florida, Texas and other parts of the country and they've given them rave reviews. Many out of towners have become Philly Food regulars. These packages aren't cheap due to the costly packaging and next day air; about $70 for two jumbo cheese steaks including two bags of Herr's potato chips and two cans of Frank's root beer soda. Other gift packs on Dial-A-Party Catering's Philly Food menu include soft pretzels baked that morning in South Philly, Habbersette Scrapple and a kit containing Maglio's Philly made hot or sweet Italian Sausage and Cacia's Brick Oven baked rolls to make Wildwood, NJ boardwalk style sausage sandwiches.
